Role Description The Assistant Fashion Designer role is a full time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The role involves supporting the lead designers in developing new collections for ethnic menswear. Day-to-day responsibilities include sketching designs, preparing mood boards, assisting with fabric selection, and coordinating embroidery and other embellishments. The Assistant Fashion Designer will participate in fittings, support pattern development and adjustments,



and collaborate with production teams to ensure designs are translated accurately. The role also includes maintaining design documentation, tracking samples, and contributing creative ideas aligned with the brand’s aesthetic and quality standards.
Qualifications
Demonstrated skills in Fashion Design and Fashion concepts, including sketching, trend awareness, and collection development.
Knowledge of Textiles, including drape, texture, and suitability for ethnic wear.
Experience with Embroidery and surface ornamentation techniques relevant to ethnic and occasion wear.
Practical understanding of Fitting, garment construction, and working with pattern makers and tailors.
Diploma or degree in Fashion Design.
Strong attention to detail, color sense, and ability to follow brand guidelines.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with design, production, and sales teams.
Ability to work on-site full time in Benga
