About the Role
UBS is building a contemporary, cloud-native background screening platform replacing multiple legacy applications through a multi-phase migration running through 2027. We're hiring Full Stack Engineers in our India GDC to build features and drive migration execution. You'll ship features that clients use within weeks, not quarters.

What You'll Do
Design and build features across the full stack: .NET / .NET Core backend services and Angular front ends
Contribute to migrating legacy application workloads onto Orion, including data migration and backward compatibility work
Build and consume RESTful APIs integrating with ATS platforms, third-party data providers, and internal services
Own quality end to end: design reviews, unit and integration tests, and production support for what you ship
Work in an Agile/Scrum model with distributed teams across the US and India




What We're Looking For
5+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong depth in .NET / .NET Core
Solid hands-on Angular experience building production front ends
Strong SQL skills with SQL Server or PostgreSQL — schema design, stored procedures, query optimization
Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs at scale
Working knowledge of AWS (EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3) and CI/CD-based delivery
Comfort working on a platform in active migration
Nice to Have
Background screening, HR tech, staffing, or another regulated data-driven domain
Exposure to LLM/AI-powered automation in enterprise products
Experience in distributed onshore/offshore delivery models
