About the role
As a Senior Quality Engineer, you’ll be responsible for delivering robust, reliable, and high-performing software solutions that meet the needs of our customers and align with Woolworths’ business objectives. You’ll work closely with engineers, product managers, business analysts, UX/UI designers, and stakeholders to embed quality across the software development lifecycle, contributing to test automation, shift-left practices, and continuous improvement to ensure our software is reliable, scalable, and secure.

What you’ll do
Drive Quality Across the SDLC: Drive quality across the software development lifecycle by designing, building, and executing test automation frameworks and quality practices that deliver reliable,



performant software solutions aligned with Woolworths’ business objectives.
Partner with Product & Business: Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and engineers to review requirements, shape acceptance criteria, and translate user stories into comprehensive test cases and scenarios that ensure functional and non-functional quality.
Champion Test Automation & Best Practices: Champion test automation, shift-left testing, and quality engineering best practices through code reviews, automated test coverage, and CI/CD integration. Promote a culture of quality across the team.
Drive Innovation & Experimentation: Stay current with quality engineering trends, tools, and technologies, exploring new approaches to continuously improve test efficiency, coverage, and reliability.
Collaborate & Mentor: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on quality goals. Mentor junior quality and software engineers,
