Role Context
The role is a lead position within the British Council’s global FP&A; transformation programme, responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing the new FP&A; tool solution in partnership with the implementation vendor and wider programme teams.



Delivered through an agile, sprint-based approach, the role supports forecasting, budgeting, management reporting, and strategic planning capabilities for Global FP&A.; Following implementation, the position will focus on business-as-usual support, continuous improvement, and ongoing platform development.
As part of a high-profile Finance Transformation initiative sponsored by senior leadership, the role plays a critical part in delivering a scalable and effective planning solution integrated with SAP ECC6.0, Microsoft Azure, and multiple enterprise data sources. The position works closely with global SMEs and stakeholders across FP&A;, DEP, Digital & Technology, SAP Master Data, technical support teams, and business planners to support data integration, reporting, and enterprise-wide financial planning capabilities.
