Job Purpose

Plan & conduct analysis at Laboratory & Effluent Treatment Laboratory as per schedule for raw material, incoming chemicals, stage process products, final products and effluent samples. Carryout lab/pilot scale trials for continuous improvement in process & product quality

Job Context & Major Challenges

Job Context:
Chemical Laboratory is engaged in the analytical work of collection & analysis of samples from various stages of in-process products, water from various stages of treatment, inlet streams to ETP and final treated effluent before discharge, analysis and submits report to the concerned.
Major Challenges:
1. Keeping abreast with latest developments in analysis
2. Furnishing accurate and timely results to user departments

Key Result Areas

KRA (Accountabilities) (Max 1325 Characters) Supporting Actions (Max 1325 Characters)
KRA1 Quality Control -Inspection & Testing 1. Organize collection of samples from respective points of all the departments
2.



Prepare sample as per procedure
3. Analyze the sample as per the standard / procedures
4. Accurate & timely reporting to the concerned and entry in SAP
5. Prepare test reports in shifts & General shift as per schedule
6. Ensure conformance of product quality to specifications, if not, inform to Manager
KRA2 Process & Quality improvement 1. Conduct lab/pilot scale trials in association with all concerned and analyze the samples
2. Accurate & timely submission of trial results
KRA3 Statutory Compliance & Reporting 1. Ensure timely analysis of inlet & outlet streams of ETP for statutory compliance
2. Ensure accuracy in making the analysis.
3. Prepare test reports as per schedule.
KRA4 People Development 1. Train departmental workmen on current methods & new entrants
2. Train the workmen on Safety matters
