Job Brief
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial principles and be able to manage a variety of accounting tasks. This role will offer the opportunity to work in a dynamic legal environment and contribute to the financial health of the firm.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Banking Operations: Manage internet banking transactions and handle KYC-related processes.
• Accounting Documentation: Prepare and maintain accounting vouchers and related
documentation.
• Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliation of bank accounts to ensure accurate records.
• Administrative Support: Assist the team with procuring stamp papers and other administrative
needs.
• Accounting Database & Asset Management: Maintain the accounting database and oversee the Fixed Asset Register.
• Invoicing & Timekeeping:
Operate the firm’s invoicing and time-tracking software efficiently.
• Accounts Receivable: Follow up on outstanding payments, provide support, and perform
reconciliation of receivables.
• Subscription & Membership Tracking: Monitor and manage all office subscriptions, including
software, maintenance, publications, registrations, and memberships.
• Petty Cash Handling: Oversee and manage petty cash transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Reimbursements: Process and account for reimbursements for clients and employees efficiently.
Education & Certification Qualifications
• B.Com / M.Com completed from a reputed college
Must Have Qualifications
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Robust interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
