Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Edit and proofread news articles for grammar, spelling, accuracy, and readability.
- Design and prepare newspaper/e-paper pages according to the editorial plan.
- Handle headlines, sub-headings, captions, photographs, advertisements, and page elements.
- Create attractive and professional page layouts.
- Coordinate with reporters, photographers, and editorial staff.
- Check news content and page composition before final publication.
- Ensure proper alignment, typography, spacing, image quality, and overall page presentation.
- Make corrections and revisions quickly under daily publication deadlines.
- Maintain consistency in fonts, styles, columns, headlines, and visual presentation.
- Prepare pages for digital/print publishing in required formats such as PDF.
- Ensure advertisements and editorial content are correctly positioned.

Required Software Skills

Must have working knowledge of:
- Adobe InDesign




- Affinity Publisher
- CorelDRAW
- Adobe Photoshop - added advantage
- PDF creation, editing, and pre-press basics

Required Skills:
- Excellent Hindi language and proofreading skills.
- Good understanding of newspaper/e-paper page designing.
- Strong sense of typography, layout, spacing, and visual presentation.
- Ability to work under tight daily deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Positive coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple pages and corrections simultaneously.

Qualification & Experience
- Graduate preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in newspaper, magazine, publishing, e-paper, or graphic/page designing preferred.
- Freshers with strong practical knowledge of InDesign/Affinity/CorelDRAW may also be considered.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
