Job Title: Application Security Engineer

Location: Hyderabad (Hybrid)

Job Summary:
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Provide guidance and training to development teams on secure coding practices and security tools.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Prepare and present security reports to stakeholders, highlighting risks and mitigation strategies.

Mandatory Skills:
- Expertise in secure coding practices and familiarity with common security frameworks (e.g., OWASP, NIST).
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:
- Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Skilled (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM),



or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks beyond SOX, such as GDPR or PCI DSS.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to non technical stakeholders.

Pay: From ₹1,500,000.00 per year
