About the Role

We are looking for a mid-level Java Developer to join our engineering team and help build scalable, reliable

backend services. You will design and develop core product features, work across the stack from database to

has strong Java fundamentals, hands-on backend framework experience, and a genuine interest in

understanding the business and the product they are building.
- Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Java.
- Build robust solutions using core Java, including deep knowledge of Collections and data structures.
- Develop and maintain services using Spring Boot and JAX-RS frameworks.
- Write efficient, well-structured SQL queries and work with relational databases.
- Integrate and work with cloud services such as Amazon S3, SNS, and SQS.
- Participate in the full Agile development lifecycle — sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives —

tracking work in JIRA.
- Collaborate with product and cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them

into technical solutions.




- Contribute to code reviews, maintain code quality, and follow engineering best practices.
- Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Java, with solid command of Collections classes and core language concepts.
- Hands-on experience with backend development and frameworks such as Spring Boot and JAX-RS.
- Working knowledge of build tools — Gradle and Maven.
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS S3, SNS, SQS, and similar.
- Positive SQL skills, including writing and optimizing queries.
- Ability to understand the business context and product goals behind technical work.
- Well versed with the Agile lifecycle, sprints, and JIRA.
- 2-5 years of professional software development experience.

- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
