The On-Demand/Same Day Delivery Platform Manager will lead and supervise all aspects of daily delivery operations. This includes directing a team of delivery Riders, managing courier scheduling, optimizing routes for speed, maintaining high customer satisfaction, and ensuring compliance with company safety standards and labor laws.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management:Oversee the end-to-end, high-volume, on-demand delivery pipeline, ensuring orders are dispatched and delivered within promised timeframes.

Team Leadership & Scheduling:Hire, train, schedule, and manage delivery personnel. Set daily and weekly targets for the delivery team.

Route Optimization:Utilize GPS, mapping software, and logistics technology to ensure the fastest, most cost-effective delivery routes.

Performance Monitoring (KPIs):Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as average delivery time, delivery success rate, customer satisfaction, and cost-per-delivery.

Customer Experience:Act as the primary escalation point for customer service issues related to deliveries and ensure prompt resolution.





Technology & Compliance:Ensure seamless use of internal dispatch tools, Web, apps, and platforms. Ensure compliance with all traffic safety laws and company safety protocols.

Safety & Maintenance:Monitor fleet maintenance and safety compliance to minimize downtime.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience:Minimum 1-3+ years of experience in logistics, courier services, or fast-paced food/grocery delivery management.

Leadership:Strong supervisory skills with experience coaching and leading on-field staff.

Technical Proficiency:Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and comfortable using GPS, dispatch software, and data dashboards.

Analytical Skills:Ability to analyze data to improve operations and reduce costs.

Problem-Solving:Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions under pressure.
