Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Head of Purchase with 10+ years of experience to lead and manage the organization’s procurement and purchasing function. The role will be responsible for developing procurement strategies, vendor management, cost optimization, negotiations, sourcing, and ensuring timely availability of materials, equipment, and consumables while maintaining quality and compliance.

Key responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end procurement of dental equipment, materials, consumables, and clinic supplies across AVMSmiles and its DSP network.
- Drive strategic sourcing, vendor selection, RFQ management, quotation evaluation, and commercial negotiations to achieve quality and cost efficiency.
- Manage and develop vendors and dental laboratories, including empanelment, rate-card negotiation, SLA management, and performance evaluation.
- Oversee Purchase Orders, deliveries, shortages, damages,



and delays, ensuring timely availability of materials for clinic operations and new launches.
- Maintain procurement documentation and deliver MIS reports on spend, savings, vendor performance, and procurement efficiency.
- Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Logistics, Clinical, and Franchise teams to streamline procurement processes and achieve business objectives.

Required Skills:
- Solid strategic procurement and vendor management skills.
- Excellent negotiation, cost optimization, and commercial evaluation abilities.
- Experience in RFQ, quotation comparison, PO, GRN, invoice, and procurement processes.
- Strong knowledge of vendor/lab empanelment and SLA management.
