Gavins is a premium ethnic wear brand based in Abids, Hyderabad, specialising in luxury kids' and women's wear — sherwanis, lehengas, and occasion wear crafted for weddings and festive celebrations. We are a fast-growing, family-rooted brand known for quality, craftsmanship, and a warm in-store experience.
Role: Store Cashier
We are looking for a reliable, customer-friendly Cashier to join our store team at our flagship outlet in Abids. This is a full-time, in-store role.
What You'll Do
- Process customer transactions accurately via cash, card, and UPI
- Operate the billing/POS system and issue receipts
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer at the start and end of every shift
- Assist customers at the counter with billing queries in a polite and professional manner
- Coordinate with the sales floor team for smooth checkout
- Handle returns and exchanges as per store policy
- Maintain a clean, organised billing counter at all times
- Support basic inventory entry and end-of-day reporting
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 1 year of cashier or billing experience (retail, boutique, jewellery, or fashion preferred)
- Comfortable with POS systems, UPI, and digital payment modes
- Basic proficiency in MS Excel or billing software
- Valuable communication skills in Telugu, Hindi, and basic English
- Honest, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Presentable appearance — you represent a premium brand at the first point of contact
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
