Job Description - Senior Stores & Inventory Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Stores & Inventory Manager to lead and strengthen the entire stores function at our manufacturing facility. The role involves managing end-to-end inventory operations, implementing robust systems and controls, ensuring inventory accuracy, and supporting uninterrupted production through efficient material management.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end stores operations for raw materials, packaging materials, engineering spares, consumables, and finished goods.
- Develop and implement SOPs, inventory controls, and best practices for all stores activities.
- Ensure accurate inventory records through ERP, regular stock verification, cycle counts, and reconciliation.
- Establish effective bin management, FIFO/FEFO, end to end material traceability, and warehouse organization.
- Monitor inventory levels, reorder points,



and stock ageing to prevent shortages and minimize excess inventory.
- Coordinate closely with Purchase, Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Finance for seamless material flow.
- Lead and mentor the stores team while driving 5S, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support internal, customer, and ISO audits and ensure compliance with company procedures.

Desired Profile
- Graduate with 10+ years of experience in stores and warehouse management within a manufacturing workplace.
- Proven experience in setting up or improving stores systems, inventory controls, and warehouse processes.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems, inventory management, and warehouse best practices.
- Excellent leadership, planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in plastics, packaging, automotive, engineering, or FMCG manufacturing will be preferred.
