Position: Payroll & Compliance Executive

Department:Human Resources

Reporting to:HR Manager / Head - HR

Experience:3-5 Years

Qualification:Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Certification in Payroll or Labour Law will be an added advantage.

Industry Preference:Transportation, Logistics, Manufacturing, Facility Management, Security Services, or any manpower-intensive industry.

Job Summary

The Payroll & Compliance Executive will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing, statutory compliance, employee benefits, and maintaining accurate payroll records. The role requires sound knowledge of labour laws, payroll software, statutory deductions, and coordination with internal departments and external consultants to ensure timely salary processing and full statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Management
- Process monthly payroll accurately and within defined timelines.
- Verify attendance, leaves, overtime, shift allowances, incentives,



and deductions before payroll processing.
- Prepare salary statements, salary registers, bank transfer files, and payslips.
- Calculate Full & Final (F&F;) settlements for resigned employees.
- Ensure timely processing of salary revisions, promotions, reimbursements, bonuses, and statutory deductions.
- Resolve employee payroll-related queries promptly and professionally.
- Maintain complete payroll records and confidential employee salary data.

Statutory Compliance
- Ensure timely compliance with:
- Provident Fund (PF)
- Employees' State Insurance (ESIC)
- Skilled Tax (PT)
- Labour Welfare Fund (LWF), where applicable
- TDS on Salaries
- Shops & Establishment Act and other applicable labour laws
- Coordinate with consultants/vendors for filing statutory returns.
- Verify and maintain:
- PF Challans & ECR
- ESIC Challans & Returns
- PT Challans & Returns
- Labour Licence-related documents
- Ma
