Job Description - General Manager, Finance & Accounting

Position: General Manager - Finance & Accounting

Department: Finance & Accounting

Reports to: Managing Director / CEO / President

Supervises: Finance, Accounting, Treasury, and related personnel

Key Responsibilities

Lead the overall Finance & Accounting function and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, cash-flow projections, and financial plans.

Monitor company financial performance, profitability, costs, working capital, and cash position.

Oversee general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, taxation, and treasury activities.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.

Provide management with financial analysis and recommendations for business decisions.





Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and minimize financial risks.

Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, government requirements, and company policies.

Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisers, banks, and regulatory agencies.

Lead cost-control and efficiency-improvement initiatives.

Develop and implement finance policies, procedures, and systems.

Manage, coach, and develop the Finance & Accounting team.

Support strategic planning, investments, business expansion, and other major corporate decisions.

Identify financial risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.

Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and accuracy of financial information.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

CPA/CA or equivalent professional qualification is highly preferred.
