Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the kitchen and dining services.
- Ensure timely preparation and serving of nutritious meals according to the planned menu.
- Monitor food quality, taste, portion control, and presentation.
- Maintain the highest standards of kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of cooks, helpers, and other kitchen staff.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food items to minimize wastage.
- Monitor inventory of groceries, vegetables, kitchen supplies, and cooking materials.
- Coordinate with the purchase department for timely procurement of kitchen supplies.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene protocols.
- Inspect kitchen equipment regularly and report maintenance requirements.
- Maintain daily records of food consumption, stock usage, and kitchen operations.
- Handle kitchen-related issues efficiently and ensure smooth workflow during meal service.
- Ensure discipline, teamwork, and a positive working environment within the kitchen.

Requirements:




- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Kitchen Supervisor, Kitchen Incharge, or similar role.
- Experience in schools, hostels, hotels, hospitals, or large institutional kitchens is preferred.
- Good knowledge of food hygiene, kitchen safety, and sanitation practices.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Basic computer knowledge for maintaining records and inventory.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Valuable communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience managing kitchens serving large numbers of students or residents.
- Knowledge of inventory management and stock control.
- Understanding of food safety standards and quality control procedures.
- Ability to prepare staff duty schedules and coordinate daily kitchen operations.
- Responsible, disciplined, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food quality.
