Overview:
Senior TE - Payments for Banking Project

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
- Perform Functional, Integration, System, Regression, UAT, and End-to-End testing.
- Validate payment transaction lifecycles, including initiation, authorization, clearing, settlement, reconciliation, acknowledgements, retries, and exception handling.
- Test APIs, middleware, message queues, and microservices used in payment systems.
- Analyze SWIFT MT/MX messages, ISO 20022 formats, and payment processing workflows.
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects using tools such as JIRA.
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and Operations teams.
- Support production releases, certification testing, and post-production validation.
- Mentor junior testers and contribute to QA best practices

Essential skills:
- Positive understanding of payment systems and banking transactions.
- Experience with:
- SWIFT MT/MX
- ISO 20022
- SEPA, RTP, ACH, Wire Payments, Cards, UPI (depending on organization)
- API Testing using Postman, SOAP UI, or Rest Assured.

Experience:
4-7+ years of QA/Test Engineering experience.
