About the Role:
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new B2B customers for construction materials.
- Visit construction sites, builders, developers, contractors, civil contractors, and infrastructure companies on a regular basis.
- Generate new leads through field visits, cold calling, referrals, networking, and market research.
- Collect and maintain contact details of purchase managers, project managers, site engineers, contractors, and decision-makers.
- Introduce and promote the company's products, including:
- TMT Bars / Reinforcement Steel
- Sand
- Stone Chips / Aggregates
- Other construction and building materials
- Understand the material requirements of ongoing and upcoming construction projects.
- Build robust relationships with contractors, builders, developers, engineers, and procurement teams.
- Follow up with potential clients and convert leads into sales orders.
- Prepare and share quotations and coordinate with the internal team for pricing and order processing.
- Track ongoing construction projects and identify potential material supply opportunities.




- Monitor competitor pricing, market trends, and customer requirements.
- Maintain a daily record of calls made, visits completed, leads generated, quotations sent, and orders closed.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Develop a database of potential customers and maintain regular follow-ups.
- Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, market feedback, and business opportunities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Confident and comfortable with B2B field sales and direct client meetings.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Kolkata and surrounding areas for client and site visits.
- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to identify decision-makers and generate genuine business leads.
