Job Summary

Key Responsibilities1. Sales Leadership & Team Management
- Recruit, hire, train, and mentor a top-performing team of automotive sales consultants.
- Conduct daily morning huddles, weekly sales meetings, and continuous coaching sessions on phone skills, CRM management, and deal closing.
- Establish monthly individual and department sales goals, monitoring team performance daily.
- Maintain a positive, professional, and high-accountability dealership culture.

2. Sales Operations & Closing (Desking Deals)
- Desk deals efficiently, work the showroom floor, and step in to assist sales reps in closing transactions with customers.
- Oversee trade-in appraisals and determine competitive vehicle trade-in values.
- Partner closely with the Finance & Insurance (F&I;) department to maximize back-end gross profit and maintain smooth deal flow.




- Manage and optimize digital leads and floor traffic to maximize conversion rates.

3. Inventory & Merchandising
- Monitor vehicle inventory levels, ensuring optimal vehicle mix, pricing, and aging strategy.
- Ensure all vehicles on the lot and online showcase accurate pricing, photos, and descriptions.
- Coordinate with the service and reconditioning departments to ensure prompt turn-around times for sale-ready vehicles.

4. Customer Relations & Compliance
- Maintain high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) / NPS scores by resolving customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Build solid rapport with returning customers and handle high-value sales directly.
- Ensure all sales transactions strictly adhere to local, state, and federal automotive retail regulations.
