To be successful as a Quality Engineer, you should have experience with:
- Solid Selenium + Java Automation Scripting and Framework Development
- Strong work experience in software test automation with expertise in building and maintaining scalable automation frameworks (e.g., Data-driven, Hybrid, POM, BDD with Cucumber), along with deep Java concepts (OOPs, collections, exception handling) for robust test script design.
- Strong experience integrating automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps), executing regression suites,
and contributing to Agile/Scrum delivery through test case design, sprint execution, and defect Experience leveraging AI/LLMs (e.g., Copilot, Claude, GitLab Duo) to accelerate test lifecycle—covering requirement-to-test case generation, BDD feature creation, Selenium script generation, self-healing automation, and intelligent reporting using Agentic AI-based frameworks.
- Some other highly valued skills may include:
- Familiarity with Playwright for web test automation, including cross-browser testing, parallel execution, and modern automation practices.
- Knowledge of performance and scalability testing, including execution and analysis of load, stress, and endurance testing using tools like LoadRunner, ensuring system stability under high-volume condition.
