Job Summary

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for expanding the company's dealer network, achieving sales and collection targets, developing painters and contractors, leading the sales team, and ensuring effective market coverage. The role requires a result-oriented professional with strong leadership, relationship-building, and business development skills within the paint or building materials industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and collection targets.
- Appoint and develop new dealers, distributors, and retailers.
- Increase product sales through existing dealers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, painters, contractors, architects, and influencers.
- Lead, train, motivate, and monitor Sales Officers within the assigned territory.




- Conduct regular market visits and joint field working with Sales Officers.
- Ensure timely recovery of outstanding payments and maintain healthy debtor ageing.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, schemes, and new product launches.
- Plan and execute sales promotions, dealer meets, painter meets, and product demonstrations.
- Ensure implementation of company policies, pricing, and credit norms.
- Analyse territory performance and prepare action plans for growth.
- Maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Identify market opportunities and recommend new products based on customer feedback.
- Resolve dealer complaints and coordinate with internal departments for prompt service.
- Drive painter loyalty programs and increase brand visibility.
