Position: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Ghaziabad
Department: Maintenance & Utilities
Reporting To: Maintenance in charge
Salary: ₹30,000 - ₹45,000 per month
Experience Required: 5-8 Years (Manufacturing Industry Preferred)

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for plant machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot machine breakdowns and carry out corrective maintenance activities promptly.
- Maintain maintenance records, equipment history, and spare parts inventory.
- Ensure minimum machine downtime and maximum equipment availability.

Mechanical Maintenance
- Maintain and repair motors, pumps, compressors, conveyors, gearboxes, bearing assemblies, and other mechanical equipment.
- Perform machine inspections and alignment checks and identify potential maintenance issues.
- Assist in machine installation, commissioning, alignment, and modification activities.
- Handle vibration analysis, lubrication schedules, and wear-and-tear assessments.





Team Coordination
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth plant operations.
- Guide and mentor technicians during maintenance and breakdown activities.
- Ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks and proper documentation.

Safety & Compliance
- Follow company safety procedures and maintenance standards religiously.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and maintenance practices within the department.
- Support implementation of 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Skills & Competencies
- Expert knowledge of mechanical maintenance principles and practices.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical equipment.
- Robust troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage breakdown situations effectively.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance best practices.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Familiarity with maintenance management
