Job Summary

Responsible for sourcing, procurement, vendor management, and timely procurement of electrical, mechanical, and production-related materials to support manufacturing operations while ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute procurement activities for raw materials, electrical components, mechanical parts, consumables, and services.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop current vendors to ensure a reliable supply base.
- Obtain quotations, conduct price negotiations, and finalize purchase orders.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production, planning, and stores teams for material requirements.
- Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and purchase documentation.
- Support cost reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations.




- Resolve supplier-related issues concerning quality, delivery, and commercial terms.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with finance for invoice verification and payment follow-ups.

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
- Additional qualification/certification in Supply Chain Management (SCM), Procurement, or Materials Management will be an added advantage.

Required Skills:
- Knowledge of electrical or mechanical components used in manufacturing.
- Vendor development and supplier relationship management.
- Negotiation and cost optimization skills.
- Understanding of ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, communication, and coordination abilities.
- Knowledge of inventory management and procurement processes.
