Position Summary
The Laundry Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the laundry facility, ensuring effective workflow, high-quality processing, compliance with healthcare hygiene standards, and optimal utilization of manpower and equipment. The role requires strong leadership, operational planning, and a commitment to maintaining strict infection prevention and quality control protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Supervise daily laundry operations, including sorting, washing, drying, ironing, folding, packing, and dispatch.
- Ensure timely processing and delivery of hospital linens, uniforms, patient garments, and other healthcare têxtiles.
- Allocate work efficiently among team members to achieve daily production targets.
- Monitor workflow to minimize delays and maximize productivity.
Quality & Infection Control
- Ensure compliance with healthcare laundry hygiene standards and infection control protocols.
- Monitor wash formulas, water temperature, chemical usage, and processing parameters to maintain quality standards.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure cleanliness, stain removal, and proper finishing of linens.
- Identify and resolve quality issues promptly.

- Supervise, motivate, and guide laundry operators and support staff.
