We are seeking an experienced Lead System Engineer to spearhead heterogeneous database migration initiatives from MS SQL Server to Aurora PostgreSQL. In this role, you will drive end-to-end migration efforts leveraging AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) and Schema Conversion Tool (SCT), while authoring migration runbooks that guide broader engineering teams through complex enterprise transitions.

Responsibilities
- Lead the setup, configuration,



and validation of AWS DMS and SCT for heterogeneous database migrations
- Design and implement Aurora PostgreSQL environments using Infrastructure-as-Code principles
- Author comprehensive migration runbooks for execution by the broader engineering team
- Deliver end-to-end heterogeneous database migration projects for enterprise customers
- Perform production-grade database operations including backup/restore, parameter tuning, and failover testing
- Drive schema conversion efforts from MS SQL Server to PostgreSQL/Aurora PostgreSQL
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth migration execution and knowledge transfer
- Validate data integrity and performance benchmarks throughout the migration lifecycle
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship on AWS database migration best practices
