Step into the role of AVP KYC at Barclays, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future. In this pivotal role you will manage operations within a business area and maintain processes, risk management initiatives, and compliance with relevant regulators. You will take ownership of your work, ensuring it aligns with the relevant rules & regulations, and codes of conduct.

You will support business objectives by maintaining effective KYC processes, strengthening financial crime controls, managing high-risk customer reviews, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.

You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in role such as:
- Strong experience in KYC Operations with deep understanding of customer onboarding, periodic reviews, and lifecycle management.
- Proven expertise in AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and Financial Crime Compliance frameworks.




- Extensive experience in Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) processes, including high-risk customer reviews.
- Demonstrated People Leadership experience, with the ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
- Proven ability to make sound risk-based decisions independently and operate effectively with mínimal supervision.
- Robust stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience engaging senior business and risk stakeholders.

Desirable skills set:
- Experience managing KYC onboarding, high risk, etc.
- Proven track record of leading operational excellence and process transformation initiatives within KYC and Financial Crime environments.
- Ability to influence strategic discussions and build strong partnerships across business, operations, compliance, and risk functions.
