We are looking for an experienced Purchase Assistant who can efficiently manage procurement activities for multiple construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Procure construction materials, machinery, tools, consumables, and equipment.
- Obtain quotations from multiple vendors and prepare comparative statements.
- Negotiate rates, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Generate and process Purchase Orders (POs).
- Coordinate with project sites for material requirements.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain vendor database and develop new supplier relationships.
- Verify invoices, delivery challans, and material receipts.
- Coordinate with Stores, Accounts, and Project Teams.
- Monitor inventory levels and prevent stock shortages.
- Maintain procurement MIS and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
- Assist Directors and management with assigned tasks.
- Handle confidential information professionally.
- Support tender documentation and miscellaneous office work.




- Perform any other administrative or commercial duties assigned by management.

Required Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of construction materials.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Cost analysis and rate comparison.
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with ERP/Tally/Procurement Software is preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple purchase requests.
- Solid analytical and documentation skills.
- Good understanding of GST, invoices, and purchase documentation.
- Knowledge of logistics and transportation coordination.

Preferred Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in purchase/procurement within a Construction, Infrastructure, Highway, Bridge, or EPC Company.
- Experience handling procurement for NHAI, PWD, NHIDCL, Railway, or civil infrastructure projects will be preferred.
