Chemosynth Industries is looking for an experienced technical professional to manage and head the laboratory department at its factory and coordinate production with the plant shift in charge. Trouble shoot, run QC from batch to batch, etc.

Our former Technical Manager will be available on a retainer to provide guidance and support whenever required.

Key Responsibilities
- Understand and work with the company’s existing formulations.
- Manage the day-to-day functioning of the laboratory.
- Assess raw materials, laboratory samples and production samples.
- Check whether samples meet the required specifications and quality standards.
- Run QC on raw materials received and confirm they match the specifications.
- Identify technical problems with samples, formulations or production batches.
- Recommend and carry out the necessary corrections.
- Conduct laboratory trials when required.
- Guide the production team on formulation and process-related matters.




- Monitor product quality and consistency.
- Investigate production problems, batch failures and customer complaints.
- Maintain proper laboratory records, formulation records and test reports.
- Supervise and guide laboratory staff.
- Coordinate with the production, quality control and management teams.
- Take overall technical responsibility for the laboratory department.
- Consult the former Technical Manager whenever additional guidance is required.
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience working in a laboratory.
- Relevant experience in dyes, chemicals or a related manufacturing industry.
- Solid practical understanding of formulations and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to assess samples and identify what is technically wrong.
- Ability to correct formulations and resolve production-related problems.
- Capable of understanding existing formulations and processes quickly.
