We are seeking a motivated Software Engineer to help build the next generation of Windows device optimizations. As advances in AI, silicon, and software create recent opportunities, you will contribute to making exceptional device fundamentals a defining feature of Windows PCs.

Responsibilities
- Analyze telemetry and trace data, with support from experienced engineers, to understand software and hardware behavior on individual devices and at scale.




- Investigate system issues using debugging and performance-analysis tools.
- Identify optimization opportunities and contribute to the design and implementation of improvements.
- Deliver reliable, high-quality solutions by following sound engineering practices and incorporating feedback from code and design reviews.
- Use data to evaluate solutions, validate improvements, and support engineering decisions.
- Collaborate with team members and partner teams to deliver improvements across the Windows ecosystem.

Qualifications:
- Required/Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- OR equivalent experience.
