We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager, Data Analytics

In this role, you will:
- Extract and integrate data from external sources, such as public databases, social media platforms and third-party vendors to enhance advanced analytics capabilities.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of complex transactional and demographic datasets to identify patterns for identifying risk and opportunities.




- Develop innovative and impactful data-based tools and models for propensity modeling and risk mitigation, continuously evaluate the effectiveness of models and make recommendations for improvements.
- Work with and leverage solutions and approaches developed by the wider HSBC Analytics community

To be successful you will:
- 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably in banking and financial sector.
- University degree in Computer Science, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics or any other quantitative related discipline, Master’s degree is highly preferred.
- Extensive technical skill in data mining, able to understand various data structures both structured and unstructured and common methods in data transformation.
- High technical aptitude, problem solving abilities, intellectual curiosity, motivation, and passion for data discovery.
- Open minded and self-motivated with good communication and interpersonal ski
