Job Title: Store Incharge - Textile Industry

Location: Kolkata & Falta
Department: Stores & Inventory Management
Experience Required:Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in the Textile Industry (mandatory)

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the store, including receipt, storage, and issuance of materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of raw materials, fabrics, yarns, dyes, chemicals, accessories, and finished goods.
- Ensure proper stock levels and coordinate with procurement and production departments for material requirements.
- Monitor inward and outward movements of goods and prepare related documentation.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure proper storage practices to prevent damage, wastage, or pilferage of materials.
- Maintain records in ERP/software and generate inventory reports as required.
- Coordinate with production, purchase, and dispatch teams for smooth material flow.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and housekeeping practices within the store area.




- Supervise store staff and allocate duties effectively.

Required Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline; Diploma or certification in Materials Management/Inventory Management is preferred.
- 2 - 3 years or more of relevant experience in the Textile Industry is mandatory.:
- Strong knowledge of têxtile raw materials, fabrics, yarns, dyes, chemicals, and accessories.
- Experience in inventory control and warehouse management.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
- Valuable communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
