Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure end-to-end GST compliance in accordance with applicable GST laws and regulations.
- Review and guide preparation and filing of GST Returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C, etc.).
- Handle GST assessments, departmental notices, audits, investigations and adjudication matters.
- Liaise with GST authorities and represent the organization before Government departments.
- Provide expert advice on GST laws, notifications, circulars and amendments.
- Conduct GST reconciliations and identify compliance gaps and risk areas.
- Assist in GST planning, tax optimization and compliance improvement initiatives.
- Support internal and statutory audits relating to GST matters.
- Draft replies to departmental notices and appeals.
- Train internal teams on GST provisions, compliance requirements and recent amendments.




- Maintain GST documentation and ensure audit readiness.

Eligibility Criteria
- Retired Government employee from GST Department or any other related Government Department.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in GST Administration, Audit, Assessment or Enforcement.:
- Overall 20+ years of Government service experience.:
- Sound knowledge of GST Acts, Rules, Notifications, Circulars and Compliance Procedures.
- Experience in handling GST assessments, audits, investigations, adjudication and departmental correspondence.
- Strong analytical, documentation and communication skills.
- High ethical standards, professional integrity and attention to detail.

Preferred Experience
- Experience in handling GST matters for Infrastructure, Construction, EPC or Manufacturing sectors will be preferred.
- Experience in GST litigation, departmental representation and tax advisory will be an added advantage.
