What You Will Do
- Lead CAD design and drafting efforts for recent product development and sustaining engineering projects involving connectors, cable assemblies, and industrial networking products.
- Create and release high-quality 3D models, manufacturing drawings, and product documentation in compliance with Molex engineering standards.
- Drive engineering change management activities, including preparation and execution of Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and design change packages.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to resolve product, manufacturing, and customer-related challenges through effective technical problem-solving.
- Support product lifecycle activities by driving continuous improvement initiatives and sustaining released products.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers on CAD best practices, drawing standards, and engineering design methodologies.
- Partner with manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and customers to ensure products meet performance, quality, and reliability expectations.




- Contribute to root cause investigations and corrective action implementation for product and process-related issues.
- Support validation, measurement analysis, and product disposition activities to maintain product integrity and customer satisfaction.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 5-7 years of experience in product development, sustaining engineering, or engineering change management within connectors, wiring harnesses, automotive, or industrial products.
- Advanced proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and detailing, preferably using Siemens NX (UG NX).
- Strong knowledge of GD&T;, tolerance interpretation, and basic tolerance stack-up analysis.
- Experience working within cross-functional and global engineering teams.
- Solid understanding of product development processes, DFMEA, and engineering change management.
