Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily transportation activities.
- Assign vehicles and drivers based on operational requirements.
- Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of goods or employee transportation.
- Monitor vehicle movement using GPS or tracking systems.
- Schedule preventive maintenance and repairs for vehicles.
- Maintain records of vehicle inspections, fuel consumption, mileage, and maintenance.
- Verify driver licenses, permits, and statutory documents.
- Ensure compliance with road safety regulations and company policies.
- Manage fuel usage and control transportation costs.
- Investigate accidents, delays, or transport-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with vendors, workshops, and transport service providers.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly transportation reports.
- Train and supervise drivers on safety and operational procedures.
