Key Responsibilities

1. Production Management
- Oversee complete plant operations including melting, molding, core making, fettling, machining, and dispatch.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per schedule.
- Monitor daily production planning and optimize machine utilization.
- Improve productivity and reduce rejection rates.

2. Quality Control
- Ensure product quality as per customer specifications and industry standards.
- Monitor defects such as blow holes, shrinkage, cracks, and sand inclusions.
- Coordinate with quality team for root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Maintain quality systems and customer compliance.

3. Maintenance Management
- Supervise preventive and breakdown maintenance of furnaces, molding lines, compressors, and machines.
- Ensure plant equipment is in positive working condition to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with maintenance team for continuous improvements.

4. Cost Control & Budgeting
- Monitor raw material consumption like scrap, pig iron, alloys, sand, and chemicals.
- Control production costs and improve operational efficiency.




- Manage plant budget and reduce wastage.

5. Team Management
- Lead production, quality, maintenance, stores, and dispatch teams.
- Handle manpower planning, training, and performance monitoring.
- Maintain discipline and improve workforce productivity.

6. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, pollution control norms, and labor laws.
- Promote safe work practices in melting and foundry operations.
- Conduct safety audits and training programs.

7. Process Improvement
- Implement lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement activities.
- Improve casting yield and reduce process losses.
- Develop new methods for better efficiency and quality.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
