Job Summary:
An English Teacher is responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging English language and literature lessons to students. The role includes developing students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills while creating a positive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials according to the curriculum.
- Teach English grammar, literature, composition, vocabulary, and communication skills.
- Assess and evaluate students’ academic performance through tests, assignments, and classroom activities.
- Maintain classroom discipline and encourage student participation.
- Provide guidance and support to students to improve language proficiency.
- Use contemporary teaching methods and educational technology to enhance learning.
- Keep accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress.
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and school administration.




- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
- Support extracurricular activities such as debates, drama, and writing clubs.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
- Teaching certification/license (if required by institution or country).
- Strong command of spoken and written English.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Previous teaching experience is preferred.
