Role of the Innovation Manager
To drive the development of new product lines, materials, and digital processes by developing cutting-edge concepts (motifs, material, techniques, settings, textures,) leveraging various manufacturing techniques, to ensure the brand remains competitive in a fast-paced luxury market.
To be the bridge between traditional craftsmanship and modern technology.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Trend Forecasting: Develop and execute a 24 months innovation roadmap. Research global jewellery trends, emerging materials and consumer buying triggers.
Pipeline Management: Lead the end-to-end innovation process—from initial ideation and prototyping to pre-production samples.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with design teams, CAD/CAM operators, and production managers to ensure new concepts are feasible, scalable, and cost-efficient.
Digital Transformation: Drive adoption of advanced tools to create complex geometries impossible via traditional methods.
Culture of Innovation:



Facilitate brainstorming sessions and workshops to foster a culture of creative problem-solving across departments.
Performance Metrics: Acceptability by Category / DEC /Inhouse Teams and implementation in projects
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years in innovation management, product development, or design leadership, preferably within jewellery.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in jewellery-specific design software such as Rhino CAD, Matrix Gold,
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of Gemology, metallurgy (gold, silver, platinum), and Market trends
Project Management: Expertise in agile methodologies or design thinking frameworks to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
Education: B.E / B-Tech / Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Jewellery Design, Design Management, or a related field (e.g., NIFT or GIA certification).
Soft Skills
Storytelling: Ability to translate technical innovations into compelling brand narratives for retail and mark
