Are you a Java engineer passionate about building platforms and frameworks that enable other developers to move faster? eBay’s Global Platform team is looking for a Java Platform Engineer to join our growing team in Bangalore.
You’ll be part of the Frameworks team, building and evolving the Java platform that powers eBay’s site-facing REST, GraphQL, and Batch applications.



You’ll contribute to Raptor.io, eBay’s Spring Boot-based Java Developer Platform, used by engineering teams across eBay.
Your customers are eBay developers. You’ll build reusable frameworks, automation, and platform capabilities that simplify how applications are developed, tested, deployed, and operated at scale.
What You’ll Do
Platform & Framework Development: Build and evolve our Java and Spring Boot platform, creating reusable capabilities for thousands of internal applications.
End-to-End Ownership: Own features from design and development through automated testing, deployment, production operations, and support.
Build & Deployment Automation: Develop and improve CI/CD capabilities using Maven, Jenkins, Tekton, and Git.
Cloud-Native Engineering: Build and operate platform capabilities using Docker, Kubernetes, and up-to-date cloud-native technologies.
