Chief Judge Mark Klappenbach is now accepting applicants for the position of Law Clerk. A Law Clerk researches and prepares legal memoranda and draft opinions on cases assigned to the judge’s panel and provides assistance to the judge with motions, petitions, and other administrative duties. Applicants for the position must be a law school graduate, have excellent research and writing skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Word. The position has a starting salary of $92,700. Law Clerks are eligible for most state advantages including state retirement, group health and term-life insurance programs, cafeteria plan, credit union membership, and deferred-compensation programs.
