Medical Coder – Fresher / Trainee

Eligible Candidates
- B.Sc Nursing / B.Sc Nursing graduates
- GNM / Diploma Nursing candidates
- Nursing graduates looking to enter the Healthcare IT & Medical Coding industry
- Freshers with good medical terminology and clinical knowledge

Job Responsibilities
- Review and analyze patient medical records and clinical documentation.
- Identify diagnoses, procedures, and medical services documented by healthcare providers.
- Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes based on coding guidelines.
- Ensure accurate and complete medical coding of patient records.
- Follow healthcare regulations, coding standards, and company quality procedures.
- Maintain accuracy and productivity targets.
- Participate in training and continuous learning on coding updates.

Skills Required
- Good knowledge of Anatomy & Physiology
- Strong understanding of medical terminology
- Basic knowledge of diseases, treatments, and clinical procedures
- Positive English communication and comprehension
- Attention to detail and analytical skills
- Willingness to learn medical coding concepts and guidelines
- Basic computer knowledge
