Specialist- Piping support the Discipline Manager on achieving Jacob's project and engineering process and procedure. This dynamic position provides leadership, champions inclusion and diversity, drives global delivery, supports a culture of innovation applies a disciplined deployment and ensures Management responsibilities including training and development. Manages skilled employees and/or supervisors or manages multi-discipline teams of support employees accounting for a large/significant span of control. Has accountability for the performance and results of a team within own area of specialty. Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges and problem solving guided by policies,



procedures and business plan; receives guidance from senior manager. Provides technical guidance to employees, colleagues and/or customers. Drives design consistency across projects by standardizing templates, specifications, and workflows. Promotes continuous improvement in design efficiency, digital tools, and engineering practices.
- The Piping Design Manager will lead and manage piping design activities for life sciences projects—including pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities, biotechnology plants, sterile/aseptic production suites, R&D; laboratories, utility systems, and cleanroom environments. This role ensures that all piping design deliverables meet project requirements, regulatory standards, GMP compliance, and client expectations while driving innovation, efficiency, and quality.
