About the Role

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. In this role, you will take charge of a specific section of the kitchen (such as saucier, garde manger, pastry, or grill), ensuring the highest standards of food preparation, presentation, and hygiene. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced line cook or demi chef de partie ready to step up and lead a station.

Key Responsibilities
- Section Management: Manage and run your assigned kitchen section efficiently, ensuring high-quality food output during service.
- Food Preparation & Cooking: Prepare, cook, and garnish dishes according to recipes and established restaurant standards.
- Quality & Hygiene Control: Monitor food stock levels, check food quality, and strictly adhere to HACCP and local food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Head Chef, Sous Chefs, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service.
- Training & Mentorship: Guide and support Commis Chefs and kitchen assistants working within your section.




- Waste Reduction: Minimize food waste and assist with inventory management and ordering as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or strong performance as a Demi Chef de Partie in a qualified, fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Culinary Knowledge:
- Comprehensive understanding of professional cooking techniques, ingredient handling, and flavor pairing.
- Ability to produce consistent, high-volume dishes under pressure.
- Certifications: Valid Food Safety and Hygiene certification (e.g., HACCP or equivalent).
- Soft Skills:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to multitask and maintain composure during peak service hours.
- Good communication skills and a strong team-player mindset.
