Job Description: SAP S/4HANA PP/DS Hands-on Technical Consultant

Location: Offshore

Project: S/4HANA Greenfield Implementation — Infor to SAP Migration

Client Environment: Highly configurable discrete manufacturing environment

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on SAP S/4HANA PP/DS Technical Consultant with robust configuration, build, troubleshooting, and implementation experience in Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling.

This role requires someone who can work directly in the SAP system, configure PP/DS functionality, support integration with core PP, SD, and AVC, analyze planning issues,



resolve defects, support testing cycles, and help stabilize the solution through go-live.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with business users, functional leads, technical teams, and offshore/onshore stakeholders, but the primary expectation is hands-on execution rather than high-level advisory.

Key Responsibilities
- Configure and support SAP S/4HANA embedded PP/DS functionality in a greenfield implementation environment.
- Perform hands-on configuration for:
- Production planning
- Detailed scheduling
- Finite capacity planning
- Planning heuristics
- Scheduling board setup
- Resource and capacity modeling
- Production constraints
- Setup times and changeovers
- Work on integration between PP/DS and core SAP PP, including MRP, planned orders, production orders, BOMs, routings, work centers, and resource/capacity master data.
