Role: IDMC IICS Developer

Exp Required: 6+ years

Primary: Python, Databricks, Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, IDMC

Responsibility:

Analyze existing Informatica PowerCenter mappings, workflows, sessions and dependencies

Assess migration feasibility and identify and identify IICS equivalents for PowerCenter components.

Perform end-to-end migration from PowerCenter to IICS using informatica migration utilities and manual conversion where required.

Redesign and optimize ETL logic to align with cloud best practices

Conduct unit testing, system testing and data reconciliation post migration

Migrate and Validate: Mappings and workflows, Parameter files and variables, Scheduling and dependencies, Error handling and logging

Resolve performance issues and ensure data accuracy.

Must have:

Proficiency with Informatica IICS (CDI, Mass Ingestion, Database Ingestion), PowerCenter and Power Exchange.

Experience in working on various database systems like Oracle Exadata, Teradata, DB2, MYSQL etc.

Working experience on file processing from Mainframe source systems is desirable.

Experience with data integration, cleansing, validation, and mapping techniques
