Improve safety culture through leadership engagement, quality safety observations, hazard reporting and employee participation.

Ensure effective identification, assessment and control of process, machine and battery risks through timely completion of HAZOP, Machine Safety Risk Assessments, PSSR and MOC.

3. Operational Safety Excellence

Maintain high standards of operational discipline, critical safety barrier health, statutory compliance and audit performance.

4. Incident Prevention & Learning

Prevent serious incidents through effective investigation, timely CAPA closure and sharing of operational learning to eliminate repeat events.

5. Capability & Continuous Improvement

Build competent teams through structured training, coaching, standardization and implementation of safety improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Support the Sr. Manager in implementing the Safety Strategy across the assigned manufacturing area.
- Execute Process Safety Management activities including Task Risk Assessments,



HAZOP action closure, PSSR, MOC implementation and Critical Control verification.
- Conduct Machine Safety Risk Assessments and ensure effective implementation of machine guarding, interlocks, emergency stops, functional safety requirements and safe equipment commissioning.
- Implement controls for process-specific risks within the assigned area (e.g., powders and NMP in Electrode; lasers, electrolyte and dry rooms in Assembly; high-voltage systems, formation cycling and thermal risks in Formation).
- Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, workplace risk assessments and legal compliance verification; ensure timely closure of identified actions.
- Drive contractor safety, permit-to-work compliance, LOTO implementation and secure maintenance practices.
- Promote a positive safety culture through field presence, quality safety observations, behavioral interventions, toolbox talks and Stop Work Author
