This is a full time, on-site role for a General Manager located in Yercaud, Tamil Nadu. The General Manager will oversee overall operations of The Brook Resorts & Spa, ensuring smooth functioning across departments such as guest services, operations, housekeeping, and food and beverage. Responsibilities include managing team performance, ensuring guest satisfaction, overseeing budget management, implementing marketing strategies, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The General Manager will also work to strengthen client relationships and create a positive experience for all staff and guests.

Role & responsibilities

Business & P&L; Ownership
- Drive end-to-end financial performance with a turnaround mindset - optimizing revenue streams, controlling costs, and improving margins.
- Develop and execute quarterly business plans aligned to Yercauds tourist cycles (weekend getaways, seasonal peaks).
- Build new revenue lines such as curated experiences, packages, and corporate retreats.
- Monitor KPIs rigorously and course-correct proactively to strengthen profitability.





Operations Excellence
- Standardize processes across Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B;, Spa, and Maintenance to bring the resort up to best-in-class operational benchmarks.
- Introduce structured SOPs and quality checks to improve consistency and reduce operational leakages.
- Oversee preventive maintenance programs to protect the property from hill-station wear & tear (moisture, monsoon damage).
- Implement lean processes to reduce inefficiencies and shorten turnaround time for service delivery.

Guest Experience Enhancement
- Lead a culture shift toward service excellence - elevating ratings across online platforms, OTAs and direct guest feedback.
- Introduce curated Yercaud-specific experiences such as guided coffee estate trails, nature walks, and local cultural add-ons.
