About the Role

We are looking for a
Product Development Manager
to drive the development and execution of new physical consumer products across MDPH's FMCG portfolio.

The role involves taking a product from the initial concept through
product design, packaging development, specifications, costing, supplier coordination, commercial finalisation and production readiness
.

The position works closely with R&D;, Purchase, Manufacturing, Packaging Suppliers, Design Agencies, Marketing and Sales, and requires solid ownership and coordination skills. The role does
not
involve formulation or core R&D; of fragrances/raw materials.

Key Responsibilities

1. New Product Development
- Drive the end-to-end development of new FMCG products from concept to production readiness.
- Understand product concepts,



positioning and consumer requirements and translate them into a finished product.
- Coordinate with internal R&D; teams to understand fragrance, raw material and product specifications.
- Work with design agencies to develop product concepts, packaging designs and artworks.Brief agencies clearly on product requirements, specifications and brand guidelines.
- Ensure the final product is aesthetically appealing, commercially viable and practical to manufacture.

2. Packaging Development
- Developing packaging specifications in consultation with suppliers and internal teams.
- Coordinating packaging samples, trials and modifications.
- Evaluating packaging options on quality, aesthetics, functionality and cost.
- Coordinate with packaging and other product-development suppliers for quotations, samples, specifications, lead time, etc along with negotiations

3. Product Costing
- Prepare detailed product costing sheets using Google Sheets &
