Job Title: Shift Incharge / Engineer - DRI Plant
Department: Operations - DRI (Sponge Iron Plant)
Reporting To: Department HOD
Experience: 8+ Years
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Metallurgical / Chemical Engineering
Diploma with relevant DRI experience may also be considered.
Industry: Steel / Sponge Iron (DRI) / Integrated Steel Plant

Job Purpose
To supervise and control DRI Plant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring safe, effective and uninterrupted production while achieving production, quality and safety targets.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Supervise complete DRI plant operations during the assigned shift.
- Monitor Rotary Kiln, ABC Cooler, ESP and auxiliaries.




- Maintain process parameters and product quality.
- Achieve shift production targets.
- Coordinate with Mechanical and Electrical teams.
- Prepare shift reports and handover records.
- Ensure SOP, safety and housekeeping compliance.
- Guide operators and contract manpower.
