Key Responsibilities
- Understand business requirements, application workflows, and acceptance criteria before starting testing.
- Participate in the complete Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), including test planning, test case design, execution, defect reporting, retesting, and release validation.
- Design, maintain, and execute test cases and test scenarios, including positive, negative, boundary, and edge-case scenarios.
- Perform Functional, UI, Smoke, Sanity, Regression, Retesting, and Ad-hoc Testing.
- Identify, reproduce, document, and track defects with transparent steps, expected results, actual results, and supporting evidence.
- Perform API testing using Postman, including validation of requests, responses, status codes, and data.
- Perform database validation and testing using SQL queries, with exposure to databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL and MongoDB.
- Test web applications across supported browsers and environments.
- Perform release validation and ensure critical application workflows are functioning as expected.




- Collaborate with Developers and Business Analysts to investigate defects and clarify requirements.
- Coordinate with the Deployment team during release and production validation activities when required.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint-level QA activities.
- Contribute to improving test coverage, QA processes, and overall testing efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1 - 2 years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance.
- Strong understanding of Manual Testing, SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.
Basic programming or scripting knowledge in Java, Python, or a similar language is an advantage.
- Experience testing web applications; exposure to mobile application testing (Android/iOS) is preferred.
- Hands-on experience in Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Retesting, and UI Testing.
