Certifications: Qualified designations such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST), or local equivalents (e.g., NEOSH/NEBOSH).
Key Responsibilities:
- Product safety and contamination risk assessment
- Regulatory compliance and audit support
- Identification and assessment of workplace health and safety risks
- Development and implementation of health and safety procedures
- Ensuring production continuity from a health and safety perspective
- Conducting safety inspections and supporting corrective actions
- Providing consultant-level guidance on occupational health and safety requirements
- Understanding and monitoring food hygiene and safety controls
Hygiene & PPE Requirements:
- Frequent handwashing and sanitisation
- Proper use of gloves, PPE, and protective clothing
- Ensuring compliance with personal hygiene requirements
